LaCie announced two new LCD monitors that are specially designed for photographers and graphic designers. The LaCie 700 LCD screen series feature LED backlit. The 720, 724 and 730 variants will come in 20inch, 24inch and 30inch sizes, and come jam packed with a 4:3 aspect ratio, 1,600 x 1,200 resolution (720), 1,920 x 1,200 resolution (724), 2,560 x 1,600 resolution (730), 1,000:1 aspect ratio, 6ms response time, 14-bit gamma correction and accurate reproduction. If you purchase one of these high-end LCD screens, you will get the Blue Eye Pro Proof Edition calibration software package. The 720, 724 and 730 models from LaCie will retail for £1,219, £1,729 and £3,539, respectively.

ASUS revealed a 22-inch ultra-slim LCD monitor

ASUS unveiled its 22-inch ultra-slim LCD monitor ‘LS221H’ in Korea market during ‘ASUS World 2008′. The LS221H supports 1,680*1,050 resolution, 2ms response time, 4,000:1 contrast ratio and various input ports including VGA and HDMI. No words on availability and pricing yet.

Full HD 22-inch LCD Monitor From Buffalo

If you want to buy a new monitor, a Full HD LCD screen,the FTD-HD2232HSR/BK from Buffalo which will be available in few days.The Buffalo FTD-HD2232HSR/BK will be released very soon and provides a WUXGA resolution (1,920×1,200 pixels), a contrast ratio of 1,000:1, a brightness of 300cd/m², a viewing angle of 170°, and a response time of 5ms. Buffalo’s Full HD LCD screen is priced at around €280.

Mitsubishi 65-inch LaserVue Rear Projection 1080p TV

Mitsubishi’s 65-inch LaserVue 1080p rear-projection HDTV is priced at a hefty $7,000.The TV will be released later this month. Unfortunately, there is no word on pricing for its 73-inch version. As a reminder, the LaserVue is a laser-based HDTV, which uses an array of red, green, and blue lasers to project its image onto the screen. According to Mitsubishi, this HDTV provides a color gamut over 200% NTSC standard, and consumes less than 200 watts.

Samsung revealed a Blu-ray player BD-P2500

Samsung Electronics announced its most advanced Blu-ray player BD-P2500 during IFA 2008. The new BD-P2500 provides a significant upgrade from previous models with several new key features designed to enhance the premium audio and visual experience. The new high glossy black new player complements any stylish interior and perfectly fits with Samsung’s HD TVs.The sound has also been enhanced by supporting the new HD audio formats (Dolby Digital+, Dolby True HD and DTS-HD HRA) with 7.1 channel output, and the BD-P2500 provides full theater-quality experience.

Samsung’s BD-P2500 is the 5th generation Blu-ray player equipped with industry leading image processor HQV(Hollywood Quality Video). With the HQV processor, the BD-P2500 offers increased picture quality by refining image projection, even from non Blu-ray formats.

The integrated BD-Live feature however enables powerful internet-connected activities such as multiplayer gaming, e-commerce, movie trailer and subtitle downloads, and social networking. The BD-P2500 also includes USB 2.0 support and 1 gigabyte of embedded flash memory.

Super Slim LCD TV From Samsung

Here is another slim LCD TV from Samsung. The new Samsung 52 Inch LCD TV claims as the slimmest of the 50 inch products and is just 1 inch in thickness. The LCD offers a 50,000:1 contrast ratio and 550 nit brightness, and is scheduled to go into production by 2009.
