Also Vizio announced today the new XVT, M- and E series LCD HDTVs. In total, there are 31 new HDTV models in these three product ranges. The new XVT series includes both 1080p models with 120Hz and a Thin Line stylish designs; and a 240Hz SPS models with Smooth Motion technology. This series will be available in 32-inch to 55-inch screen sizes.

Vizio’s M series will come with the JAVA design, 120Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution. The eco E-series will come in 19-inch to 32-inch screen sizes. It will have stylish white or black piano colored bezels and offer 1080p Full HD resolution.

LG has decided to release its W2442PA-BF 24 inch LCD monitor that comes jam packed with 300cd/m2 brightness level, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, Dynamic contraste feature, 2ms response time, 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios supported, 160 to 170 degrees viewing angle, 1 watt speakers, HDMI, DVI-D ports, and VGA port. Mitsubishi Electric Corp. has rolled out its first USB PC monitor powered by DisplayLink Corp.’s innovative network display technology, that allows notebook users easy access to multi-monitor computing via one USB connection. The 20.1-inch Mitsubishi RDT201WDL wide-format LCD screen offers a USB hub, built-in Ethernet and WSXGA+ (1,680 x 1,050) resolution. The LCD monitor also features the on-screen energy meter and three levels of power usage. The Mitsubishi RDT201WDL is currently available in Japan.

Other features include HDMI 1.3, component and VGA outputs. The ViewSonic N2201W LCD monitor retails for only $429 each.

LaCie announced two new LCD monitors that are specially designed for photographers and graphic designers. The LaCie 700 LCD screen series feature LED backlit. The 720, 724 and 730 variants will come in 20inch, 24inch and 30inch sizes, and come jam packed with a 4:3 aspect ratio, 1,600 x 1,200 resolution (720), 1,920 x 1,200 resolution (724), 2,560 x 1,600 resolution (730), 1,000:1 aspect ratio, 6ms response time, 14-bit gamma correction and accurate reproduction. If you purchase one of these high-end LCD screens, you will get the Blue Eye Pro Proof Edition calibration software package. The 720, 724 and 730 models from LaCie will retail for £1,219, £1,729 and £3,539, respectively.
