Samsung XL2370 23-Inch LED LCD Monitor Headed To US

This 23-inch widescreen monitor is finally making its way to US market starting on October 12th. In case you’ve forgotten, the XL2370 offers a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 2ms response time, 5,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 160/170 degress viewing angle and an HDMI output. The Samsung XL2370 will be sold for a retail price of $299.

Samsung rolled out their latest 55-inch Full HD 3D LCD panel at the IMID expo in South Korea. This newly developed 3D LCD panel provides a 240Hz refresh rate that allows the content to seem more natural, vibrant and create no ghosting as compared to lower 120Hz 3D TVs. Samsung has recently introduced its latest Full HD 850 PAVV, a 50-inch PDP (Plasma) “Finger Slim” with a thickness of only 29mm. The Plasma TV also uses 40% more power efficient and 20% lighter (26kg) than its predecessor. The new 850 PAVV 50-inch PDP TV features Samsung’s Full HD Crystal Engine, DLNA Support, “USB 2.0 Videos” giving you the possibility to watch DivX videos, photos, or play your MP3 directly from an external HDD or USB thumb key to your TV.

Samsung just released three new 240Hz LED TVs. Known as the PAVV 8000, 7000 and 6000 series, these TVs are compatible with YouTube, DLNA, and USB 2.0 port to display both photos and DviX videos from USB flash drives. The Samsung PAVV 8000 series will be available in 46- and 55-inch and will be released in May in the USA, Europe and Southeast Asia. Meanwhile, the specs for the PAVV 7000 and 6000 series are still unavailable

Here is the latest LCD monitor from Samsung. Dubbed as the Samsung 2494HS, the LCD screen features 23.6 inch of viewing space and offers native resolution of 1,920 x 1,080, 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, stereo speakers, HDMI input, DVI and VGA connectivity, 5ms pixel response time and 300cd/m2 brightness level. The Samsung 2494HS LCD monitor will be released in Japan next month onwards for $420 each. This eco-friendly LCD screen only needs 48W of power when in use.

Samsung Electronics announced its most advanced Blu-ray player BD-P2500 during IFA 2008. The new BD-P2500 provides a significant upgrade from previous models with several new key features designed to enhance the premium audio and visual experience. The new high glossy black new player complements any stylish interior and perfectly fits with Samsung’s HD TVs.The sound has also been enhanced by supporting the new HD audio formats (Dolby Digital+, Dolby True HD and DTS-HD HRA) with 7.1 channel output, and the BD-P2500 provides full theater-quality experience.

Samsung’s BD-P2500 is the 5th generation Blu-ray player equipped with industry leading image processor HQV(Hollywood Quality Video). With the HQV processor, the BD-P2500 offers increased picture quality by refining image projection, even from non Blu-ray formats.

The integrated BD-Live feature however enables powerful internet-connected activities such as multiplayer gaming, e-commerce, movie trailer and subtitle downloads, and social networking. The BD-P2500 also includes USB 2.0 support and 1 gigabyte of embedded flash memory.

Super Slim LCD TV From Samsung

Here is another slim LCD TV from Samsung. The new Samsung 52 Inch LCD TV claims as the slimmest of the 50 inch products and is just 1 inch in thickness. The LCD offers a 50,000:1 contrast ratio and 550 nit brightness, and is scheduled to go into production by 2009.

Samsung has announced a pair of LCD monitors, The SyncMaster 2243Hz and 2233Hz. Both of them are 22-inch monitors with the Enhanced MPA for reducing ghosting effects. No price or availability details as yet. The monitors boast a high resolution of 1680 x 1050 and a dynamic contrast ratio of 30,000 : 1. They have D-sub and DVI with HDCP inputs. They also come with MagicRotation for auto re-orientation when users turn the display.

Samsung has rolled out its spanking new 9 Series LCD HDTVs. In case you didn’t know, these HDTVs are the 2nd generation LED-backlit LCD HDTVs that feature 1080p Ultra Clear panels, auto Motion Plus 120Hz technology, a superb 1,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, an integrated networking technology, 4ms response time, and down-firing speakers. Each LCD monitor also has four HDMI-CEC ports, Ethernet socket and PC input. The 46 inch LN46A950 and 55 inch LN55A950 are priced at $3,199.99 and $4,199.99, respectively.

SyncMaster T Series from Samsung available from June 13th.Also, Samsung Japan introduced the T260 and T240 models.Our are 26’’ and 24’’ monitors feature WUXGA resolution (1920×1200), a dynamic contrast ratio of 20,000:1, and a brightness of 300cd/m². The SyncMaster displays use various input terminals such as HDMI, USB2.0, DVI-D, and Analog-RGB.
The T260 should cost 430€ and the T240 365€

Also being released are the SyncMaster T220G and T200G, 22’’and 20’’ LCD widescreens with a WSXGA resolution (1680×1050). The specifications are similar to the previous screens, but without HDMI imput. Expect to pay around 275€
